questions

When you search your business name on Google, does your website show up on the first page?

Use a private browser window so your own search history does not change the results.

Does your site say which towns or areas you serve?

Look on the homepage and footer. It should be in words, not only on a map.

If you ask an AI assistant about businesses like yours in your area, does yours come up?

Try ChatGPT or Google AI mode.

On your phone, can you read everything without pinching or zooming?

Open your site on your own phone, not a computer.

On your phone, can you tap your phone number to call?

Tap the number. Your phone should offer to call it.

Does your site open without a pop-up covering the page?

Check on your phone. Pop-ups that look fine on a computer can cover the whole screen on a phone.

Could a stranger tell what you do, and who it is for, within five seconds of seeing your homepage?

Show a friend your homepage for five seconds, then ask them.

Is there a clear button to call, book, or get started near the top of your homepage?

Look at the first screen, before you scroll.

Does your site show proof, like reviews, photos of your real work, or how long you have been in business?

Stock photos do not count.

When you send yourself a message through your contact form, does it reach your inbox?

Fill it out like a customer would, then check your inbox and spam folder.

Does your browser show your site as secure, with no Not secure warning?

Look at the left end of the address bar, on a computer and on your phone.

Is everything up to date: hours, services, prices, staff, the copyright year, no expired specials?

Check the footer, the contact page, and any banners.
